1959 Ford Fordor Country Sedan

Fairlane Fordor Country Sedan
12 Variants

The Country Sedan (ridiculously confusing name) was available with two or four doors.  The four door could be had as either six or nine passenger.

Ford sold an additional 28811 copies of this car as a three forward-facing seat, nine passenger vehicle.  The top of the line Country Squire wagon was also nine passenger.  While it was the baby boom and people had a lot of kids, I think most bought the the three-seater so they wouldn't have to hear anyone whine about not having a window.

No child seats, no seat belts, a roll-down back window right over the tailpipe, no childproof locks on the inside tailgate latch.  Man, those were the days!
