Franklin Mint issued maybe two dozen 1:43 in the Nineties. They were decent quality, but didn't attain Minichamps' level of quality despite costing twice as much. What made them special was that they were replicas of American cars, and that was rare outside of a few Mustangs, Camaros and Corvettes. Now more than twenty years later, this is the one that's still worth owning.
