Part of the 50th Anniversary Holiday Train Series, sold exclusively in the Online Rock Shop. Series celebrates the holidays and the 50th anniversary of the Hard Rock Cafe brand, founded in 1971.
Each pin is a train car decorated in holiday red, white, gold and green, featuring a city name in white capital letters and a combination of characters and images that represent that city. Decorations also include two sprigs of holly leaves and berries. At bottom are four red and gold 3D wheels that spin. The six pins in the series can be connected with built-in hooks and loops to form a train that faces right, with the locomotive at far right and the caboose at far left.
Paris pin is a boxcar featuring two musical reindeer in black berets at the top. Car is mainly green with red vertical trim. At bottom is a horizontal border covered with red and white stripes. Reindeer at top left has its eyes closed and is playing a yellow horn. In its right hoof is a letter addressed to Père Noël (Father Christmas, the French equivalent of Santa Claus). Reindeer at top right is smiling and holding two yellow cymbals. Reindeer at left has a red nose and a red scarf. Reindeer at right has a black nose and a green scarf.
On left side of car body is the Eiffel Tower in gold on a white background. On right side of car body is a red windmill with white sails, similar to the rooftop windmill at the Moulin Rouge cabaret. At far right of car body are two blue and white children's shoes, filled with gifts from Père Noël. Shoe at left contains a red and white candy cane, a red and yellow ball, and a brown gingerbread man. Shoe at right contains a red and white Santa Claus doll. Hard Rock 50th anniversary logo is at center of car body in white and green. City name is at bottom center.
Back of pin says "Limited Edition 300."
Sold on a green backing card with a holiday pattern of lighter green guitars, stars, trees, candy canes, gift boxes and gingerbread men. At top right is a Hard Rock 50th anniversary logo in gold. At bottom are the words "Limited Edition" in green capital letters on a gold rectangle. Back of card features artwork of the complete series of six pins. Above the artwork, in white capital letters, are the words "Collect Them All."
Pin was sold only in the Online Rock Shop, not at Hard Rock Cafe Paris.
