The pin is of the facade of the first ever Hard Rock Cafe, situated on the corner of Old Park Lane and Piccadilly in London. The Cafe opened on Monday 14 June 1971, a date chosen deliberately, it being American Flag day. The pin celebrates the fiftieth anniversary of the Hard Rock Corporation and brand as a whole. This pin is a variation of the London Cafe's own individual 50th Anniverary pin issued on 12 June 2021.
A 50th Anniversary Hard Rock logo is placed in the upper centre of the pin, and a black banner at the bottom of the pin, partly covering the front door and windows, carries the location name in gold capitals "LONDON"
The back of the pin is gold in appearance with a design of horizontal and vertical guitars crossing at mid necks and interspersed with Hard Rock logos. A four line text box has a first line reading 'Limited Edition 450'. A guitar pick shaped hologram authenticates the pin as a genuine Hard Rock product.
The pin went on retail sale on 6 October 2021 priced at £13.95.
