Part of the 50th Anniversary Global Ticket to Travel Series. Each pin consists of a horizontal, rectangular ticket in various colours with a gold skyline above, showing the outlines of location relevant buildings and structures.
The Glasgow pin has a light blue, white and blue ticket. The light blue section covers the left end and contains a dark blue label with the letters 'SCT' toward its top. A mock bar code is below the label and under the bar code is an outline of a gold plane in flight. The main part of the ticket is largely white, with a thin blue strip at the base. Within the white section the words 'Ticket to Travel' appear in black capitals as well as a gold 50th Anniversary Hard Rock logo, and another plane outline. A yellow label contains the number 71. The red section has the word 'Destination' in small white capitals with the location 'GLASGOW' given in larger white capitals.
The pin is sold on a dark blue backing card with outlines of planes and clouds in lighter slate blue. The card has a silver line around its edge with a silver 50th Anniversary Hard Rock logo placed top left. Just below the logo are the words Global Ticket Series in silver capitals ('Global' is on one line is followed by an image of a plane and vapour trails with 'Ticket Series' on a line beneath).
