'67 Camaro

2002 RLC Exclusive (with Black stripes)
146 Variants  | 1 Autographed  | 10 Errors  | 2 Prototypes  | 49 Customs
One of the top 5 most popular Hot Wheels castings (2nd only to the Volkswagen Drag Bus), the '67 Camaro was first released in 1983. The casting was designed by Harry Bradley. With the exception of the Color Shifters series, it has always been released with a opening hood and both a metal body and base; this all changed in 2017 when the hood was cast shut and the base was changed to plastic.
Note that Harry Bradley designed the original '67 Camaro during the redline era. Larry Wood designed the retooled '67 Camaro when it debuted in 1983 for the new Hot Ones series.
The retool was used for this version of the '67 Camaro. This Camaro; with black stripes; was to be the 3rd Club car for 2002 however it was decided to sell it to current RLC club members (10,000 units) and thus is not considered part of the 2002 RLC membership kit. Only the first two releases; with red stripes and blue stripes; are part of the 2002 RLC membership kit.
Features for this black stripe version: Chrome finish; black interior, black stripes on hood and trunk, RLC logo on roof, HWC logo on sides; smoked window; Redline Real Riders on deep dish chrome rims.
