"Mistaken Identity" Part 1 of 3. Guest-starring Photon and the Black Knight. The Doomsday Man hires the Wrecking Crew to capture Ms. Marvel (aka Carol Danvers)! However the Wrecker and his compatriots are not the smartest super-villains in the Marvel Universe! And they travel to New Orleans to apprehend the former Captain Marvel (aka Monica Rambeau) instead! After a brief clash with the belligerent crew, Monica alerts her former teammates! And amid the madness of Mardi Gras, the Avengers battle the Wrecking Crew in the Crescent City! Cameo appearances by Frank Rambeau, Jarvis, Warbird, and the Wasp. Avengers Lineup: Captain America, Firestar, Iron Man, Justice, Scarlet Witch, Thor, Vision, and Wonder Man. (Notes: Monica Rambeau changed her superhero name to Photon after the events of Avengers Unplugged #5. This three-part story was reprinted in 2005 in the hardcover: Avengers Assemble #2.)
