Kang War Part 11 of 15. "Prisoners A Love Story" These are dark days in the United States of America and on the planet Earth. Kang is consolidating his power, building new citadels, squashing rebellions, and establishing prisoner-of-war camps. After being captured by Kang's soldiers, Wonder Man is thrown into a prison facility in Los Angeles...where he runs into a familiar and pretty face: the Scarlet Witch! Simon and Wanda are happy to see one another again, but the bleak conditions inside the camp damper any feelings of joy. However the man of wonder and the mutant sorceress have been avengers for a very long time. They are resourceful, brave, and determined. Perhaps if one of them could escape, the Avengers' comeback vs. the Conqueror would begin! Cameo appearances by the Human Torch, Mr. Fantastic, Thing, Darkhawk, She-Hulk, Spider-Man, and Wolverine. Flashback cameo by the Wasp to revisit the formal surrender to Kang at the end of Avengers #49.
