The Skrulls approach the Wakanda border and find the heads of their sleeper agents mounted on pikes. They launch the attack regardless, and both sides quickly disable much of each other's advanced weaponry, forcing them to meet in close combat on the battlefield. There, the Black Panther is confronted by a Super-Skrull specialized for fighting. Aboard his ship, the Skrull commander notes that not all of their sleeper agents were caught.
