Marky Mark, the gangster who killed Jackson, reports back to his boss that Chapel is still alive and nearly collapses from his wounds. Chapel bursts in, shoots Mark and the other gangsters present, forces the boss to reveal where Jackson’s daughter is, and then kills him, too. The boss’s information leads Chapel to a small town upriver from New Orleans where he is immediately attacked by a horde of cyborgs. He destroys them all but has another vision of Lord Chapel and passes out. Later, a young boy wakes him up, claiming to be the last human in town, and directs him to a building where the rest of the population was transformed. Inside, Chapel finds a hi-tech facility and people placed in stasis pods, including Jackson’s daughter. Suddenly, electrified cables restrain him, and his old enemy Giger announces himself.
