Background is a rectangle divided into sections of solid pastel colors. Hard Rock Cafe logo is at bottom center with city name in silver.
Washington DC pin is an American Cocker Spaniel in dark brown and white. Background is sections of light green, light yellow and light blue.
Tokyo pin is a Japanese Shiba Inu in brown and white. Background is sections of light blue, pink, light green, purple and light yellow.
Each pin is 4.5 centimeters high by 3.5 centimeters wide.
Back of each pin says "Limited Edition 600." Each cafe received 300 sets.
Pins were sold together, not individually, on a pink backing card covered in cherry blossom flowers. At bottom of card are the words "Limited Edition" in white capital letters.
