Cisitalia 202 SC Coupé Pinin Farina, 1948

The Cistalia 202 was not a strong competitor in the Mille Miglia or Targa Florio, with many DNFs on its resumé.  It did somewhat better in amateur road racing but we don't know how tough the competition was.  In short, there is little reason to create a competition version unless you just want to milk a few more dollars from consumers.  If that's the case, why pick a car that failed to finish the race?  Why not the 10th place 1948 Targa or 5th place 1948 Mille cars?
