Coat of Arms

This pin depicts a former Coat of Arms of the City of Porto from the XIX century. It shows the Portuguese National Arms with a red background on the top left and lower right, and the Porto Arms with a blue background on the top right and lower left. Right in the middle there is a small heart that symbolizes the legacy that the King D. Pedro IV left to the city for the bravery and loyalty of its citizens. Around the Arms there is a chain of small castles intertwined with crowns of leaf. On top of the Arms there is a ducal crown and a dragon playing a red guitar with a flying banner saying "INVICTA" - the portuguese word for  "undefeated".

The back of this painted style pin is of antique gold appearance with a three line text box that gives no statement as to quantity produced. The design on the back has crossed guitars, Hard Rock Cafe logos and a G-clef. A guitar pick shaped hologram contains within it a Hard Rock Cafe logo, the names of various Hard Rock Cafe locations and the words 'Certified Authentic'.

This Coat of Arms can also be found in the "Futebol Clube do Porto" symbol, explaining why the team players are usually known as "The Dragons".

This pin is not part of any series and it was released for retail sale in August 2023 priced 17,50€.
