The vehicle used in the original Ironside TV series, starring Raymond Burr was interchangeably represented by three 1940 Ford 1½ ton dual wheel equipped vans which had been ordered new from Ford Motor Co. in 1940 equipped as actual municipal Police paddy wagons.
