This is a copy of Doctor Who Special Effects book by Mat Irvine. It starts with a brief history of special effects in the BBC, explaining the different sorts of special effects. Other chapters are devoted to planning effects, constructing effects (building props) filming Dr Who in the studio and on location, models and miniatures then looks at monsters and creatures used in Dr Who such as the Daleks, K-9 and the TARDIS. Plenty of colour photos and an interesting read.
