The Model 6000 was all-new with a six cylinder engine and Select-O-Speed transmission.
Red and gray were the traditional colors for Ford tractors but that changed in 1963 when they became Ford Blue and a lighter shade of gray. Which means that this can only be a 1962, the year that the 'Thousand Series' Ford tractors made their debut. Hubley kept the red/gray scheme for the lifetime of this toy.
