This diorama depicts the Richard Cleare Racing Team (UK) at Le Mans in 1983, who drove their Porsche Kremer CK5 against the might of the well financed factory teams. While they did not finish Le Mans due to a dropped valve while in 10th place, they were fast (220 M.P.H.) and had the speed to match the Porsche 956's. When asked why a small team took on the big dogs at Le Mans, the team manager at the time (whom this diorama was made for) said, 'Just for the hell of it!'
