Based on Bob Marley's custom made Washburn 22 Series Hawk guitar, an instrument that has been declared to be a national treasure by the Jamaican government and regarded as one of the most expensive in the world. Marley's signature is located on the top part of the guitar body. Proceeds from the sale of this pin supported Bob Marley's charity City of Hope, whose mission is to transform scientific discoveries into new treatments and better prevention strategies for life-threatening diseases. 15% of retail price of each pin was donated to City of Hope to fund research and treatment of cancer (Marley died from skin cancer), diabetes and other life threatening illnesses.
