The pin is of a vinyl long playing record with the top third cut off to provide a base for a depiction of a skyline of iconic London buildings, from left to right being: The London Eye (aka Millenium Wheel), St Paul's Cathedral, 30 St Mary Axe (aka 'The Gherkin'), Tower Bridge and the ELizabeth Tower of the Houses of Parliament. A Hard Rock Cafe logo (dark yellow circle with burgundy lettering and ring, with silver outlining) is placed in the centre of the pin. The location, London, is placed under the logo. Silver lines depict the grooves of a record with the year, 2020, shown centre bottom, among the 'grooves'.
The back of the pin is silver in appearance with a design of pairs of guitars placed head to toe on a diagonal angle and interspersed with Hard Rock Cafe logos. A four line text box has a first line reading: Limited 'Edition 300'. A guitar pick shaped hologram has within it a Hard Rock Cafe logo, the names of various Hard Rock Cafe locations and the words 'Certified Authentic'.
The pin went on retail sale at Hard Rock Cafe London on 1 January 2020 priced £9.95.
