Something Missing?

Yat Ming was a Hong Kong-based manufacturer of diecast models in various scales. It was founded by Mr. Wai Ming Lam as Yat Ming Industrial Factory Ltd. in 1970 and continued producing diecast models until 2013. In 2014, their diecast line and tooling were purchased by Lucky Industrial Group Limited, which continued production of Yat Ming's Road Signature and Road Tough lines under the new Lucky Die Cast brand.

Yat in Chinese means "best" or "number one". The Ming portion came from the founder's name. Yat Ming is commonly known and referred to as "Yatming" due to the name being embossed on their cars' baseplates without the space, but the company's official name has always been "Yat Ming."
