Approximately 1/64 scale model of the 2015 Mazda MX-5 Miata, first released as a Matchbox Basic Miniature in 2016.
The first release, in red, was originally intended to be fitted with tri-spoke wheels, but when it was first previewed, collectors criticised the wheel choice. In response, Matchbox made a "running change" and switched to 5-spoke wheels. It was thought that the tri-spoke version would appear at retail in limited quantities, but none are known to have surfaced.
