Adam Troy Dunn (born November 9, 1979), is a former Major League Baseball player.  Nicknamed "The Big Donkey," he made his MLB debut with the Cincinnati Reds on July 20, 2001, and set a National League rookie record for the most home runs in a month (12) in August.  Dunn played both first base and left field, and played with the Cincinnati Reds (2001-2008), Arizona Diamondbacks (2008), Washington Nationals (2009-2010), Chicago White Sox (2011-2014), and the Oakland Athletics (2014).  He last MLB appearance was with the Oakland Athletics on September 28, 2014; he ended his career with a .237 batting average, 462 home runs, and 1168 RBIs.  Dunn was a two-time All Star (2002, 2012) and was named to the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame in 2018.
