Ali Mills is the main love interest of Daniel LaRusso in The Karate Kid. During the events of the first film, she seems to take an instant liking to Daniel and the two begin to date and eventually fall in love, much to her ex-boyfriend Johnny's dismay. It is revealed later in The Karate Kid Part II that Ali left Daniel for a football player from UCLA after the senior prom.
