Amy Rose is a main character in Sega's Sonic the Hedgehog series. She is a pink anthropomorphic hedgehog who proclaims herself as Sonic's "girlfriend." Since her time on Little Planet, Amy has been active in fortune telling, reading her own future hinting that one day she and Sonic will be together. 

As of 2021, Amy is the most reoccurring female character, and the fourth most-frequently appeared character (behind Sonic, Eggman, and Tails) in the franchise as a whole.
