Ms. April Spink is a fictional character featured in Neil Gaiman's novella, Coraline. She is a resident of the Pink Palace, and lives in the downstairs (or basement) apartment with her colleague and friend, Miriam Forcible. In her youth, she was a burlesque dancer alongside Forcible. Now retired, she spends most of her days with her family of dogs, and bickering with her friend. When Coraline visits April for the first time, it is revealed Spink has a gift for fortune telling, having particular luck with tea leaves.
In the animated film, she is voiced by Jennifer Saunders.
