The ACE Auto Club Europa e. V. ( ACE ) is Germany's second largest automobile club after ADAC with more than 630,000 members. The association is based in Stuttgart. In terms of transport policy, the ACE is committed to the car and at the same time promotes the idea of ​​holistic mobility , which should link all modes of transport in a meaningful way.

The club was founded in 1965 by unions in the DGB from the GUV / Fakulta . The day of foundation was July 16, 1965; Kurt Heinemann and Gerhard Kugoth were elected equal chairmen on the sidelines of the International Transport Exhibition in Munich. In 1969 it became the second largest automobile club in Germany with around 300,000 members. In 1974 the club had 400,000 members. He was a member of the federal association of trade unions. The opening to people without union ties took place in 1995. Today the association has about 630,000 members.
