Between January 2003 and December 2007, Ty issued a monthly Beanie Baby referred to as a BBOM - Beanie Baby Of the Month, for a total of 60 designs. In order to receive these Beanies, you had to sign up for a free BBOM program and you had to be a member a full 30 days before the next Beanie shipped to receive it. The Beanies were only in production for 30 days before they were retired, and once they were retired, you could not order or receive one from Ty, making them highly collectable. Each Beanie Baby had a small round plastic "button" attached to the body of the animal with the BBOM logo inside it. There was also a special hang tag created for the BBOM series. The hang tag has the BBOM logo in the upper right corner.
