Bernabé Williams Figueroa Jr. (born September 13, 1968) is a Puerto Rican former professional baseball player. He played his entire 16-year career in Major League Baseball with the New York Yankees (1991-2006). A switch-hitting center fielder known for his consistency and postseason heroics, Williams was a member of four World Series championship teams with the Yankees. He was a five-time All-Star and a winner of four Gold Glove Awards, a Silver Slugger Award, the 1996 American League Championship Series Most Valuable Player Award, and the 1998 American League batting title. The Yankees retired his uniform number, 51, in 2015.
