Christian Lichtner is the Art Director of Diablo III and joined the team in early 2009. Lichtner was officially introduced at Blizzcon 2009 as the new Art Director for Diablo III. Prior to his work in the gaming industry, Lichtner was a comic-book artist. He contributed to various publications and was best known for co-founding the coloring studio known as Liquid!. Lichtner's progress into gaming was marked by his involvement on the title Darksiders: Wrath of War.

Astra and Crystal perform an illegal procedure to bring Celestine back to life. Upon returning Celestine recalls how she fought for God in the great rebellion. After being betrayed by him by not being revived after her death, she now sees the rebels were right and decides to wage war against God. She tells her angel backers they must obtain the power of magic as it is one of the few things that'll will bring him down.
Meanwhile on Kyntek V, Angela continues her freelance hunting when she is suddenly transported to Elysium. Metatron informs her that Celestine has risen against Heaven with a host of angels and destroyed much of it. Metatron implores Angela to help save it.
Meanwhile on the Isle of Paradise, Celestine frees the Amazonians from an ice tomb. She wields the queen's scepter and the Amazonians pledge allegiance to Celestine.
Lady Demeter watches from the bushes. She decides to call on Glory for assistance and tells her Celestine is using a mind trick to make the Amazonian women follow her. Glory responds to her call and immediately teleports to the Isle.
Upon arriving via the slip gate, she is attacked by Angela. After exchanging words, they realize they have a common enemy and join forces. They attack Celestine right as she renders a sentence of death to Lady Demeter. Demeter implores Glory to use the forces of nature. Upon summoning the cleansing winds and cloudy skies, her sisters are free of their mind slavery.
Celestine slips away during the commotion to Orbital Angel Station. She prepares to use the Elemental Fire.

<p>Glory follows Angela deeper into Hell. She recalls the events of Celestine stealing Elemental Fire to resurrect the dead. After defeating them, they remembers how they realized Malebolgia had been controlling her. Metatron then sent them to hell to release her.[1] They arrive at Acheron and demand passage from the ferryman Charon. They are lead to the Land of Heretics where Celestine will be held. They are suddenly attached by a group of violent individuals and fight there way through them. Malebolgia suddenly appeared and toys with the girls. He informs them they can't hurt him and he will soon be number one. Lucifer suddenly appears and asks Malebolgia if he really thought he would pull off a coup without him knowing. Lucifer them banishes Malebolgia back to the 8th dimension of Hell. Lucifer says he will return Celestine if Glory offers her soul in return. After a brief hesitation, Glory agrees. Lucifer returns Celestine and explains there are ten levels to hell. He shows them Elysium is actually one of the highest levels. Angela is dumbfounded at the news. Lucifer kisses Angela goodbye and says they will meet again soon. As Angela leaves, she is greeted by Metatron. She is offered a chance to return to Heaven but she turns it down so that she may continue to freelance. Glory is offered a chance to be an angel as well but turns it down to stay on earth. They are both suddenly transported back to earth. Glory asks why Celestine won't forgive Angela and Angela explains it's complicated but she is a sedonist in her eyes. They bid adieu and promise to meet as friends next time.</p>
