AFrench company founded by Clément Gaget who started making toy cars in 1958. These simple plastic models were in 1:65 to 1:43 scales, partly sold in kit form, through the 1960s and 1970s.  Like Minialuxe, they were based in Oyonnax, France.

Clé models were often used in promotions for various brands, sometimes featuring the names of those advertised brands cast into the bodies. Such brands include Bonus, Bonux, Champion, Huilor, Nestlé, Pupier, Union Commerciale and Vandemoortele.
