Cursor Modelle was a brand of German manufacturer Dr Hans Renner. The company strated in 1945 and then started making detailed promotional models for German companies in 1955.
Cursor made ultra detailed 1:40 scale plastic replicas of 1880–1920 era Mercedes-Benzes and Daimlers about 1969 (12 models were in their Mercedes-Benz Museum promotional model series). Beginning in the 1960s, Cursor also produced 1/25 scale tractors and 1/40 plastic Volkswagens. The company branched into 1/35 and 1/43 scale Mercedes-Benz, as well as trucks, buses, and special purpose vehicles ranging in scale from 1/25 to 1/70. After 1990, Cursor focused primarily on diecast versions of commercial vehicles.
