Driver

Something Missing?

Dan Evans was a monster truckdriver/owner out of Scottsville, Michigan best known for his long tenure as owner/driver of Destroyer. Evans's career began however with a Limo-themed ride truck called Limonator until in 1998 he bought the old Blue Max and called the truck Destroyer. In 2001 Evans and Destroyer would make his first World Finals appearance, and his only one until 2005. 2002 was a marked year for Evans as this would be where he would debut his signature reverse move which he would use for the rest of his career. In 2006 he drove El Toro Loco in the first Ford Field show. At World Finals 8 Evans fittingly destroyed the old Destroyer, then in the summer at Monsters on Mainstreet debuted a brand new Ford Destroyer which he would run until 2012 which he sold the truck to Roger Stidell. After a tenure in Team Hot Wheels in 2012, he would pilot Blue Thunder from 2013-2014. In 2016 he filled in for a sick Marc McDonald in Hidalgo. He then retired from racing and stayed behind the scenes as part of the Monster Jam International Crew. In 2018, he returned touring with the El Toro Loco display truck.
