The timeless battle waxes and wanes until the Time-Keepers (or Time-Twisters) dramatically appear! Oh my, what do they want and whose side are they on? Regardless of the answers, time has run out. While in Southern California, the golden age Human Torch receives a similar call. Both WWII-era heroes rush to the park and wage a confusing battle against the Great Lake Avengers! What is going on? It's all part of a bizarre plan to steal Captain America's shield -- by a teenager who found the mystic ruby of cyttorak! Cameo appearance by Wonder Man. "Whatsoever a Man Soweth" Part 1 of 4. The Avengers' old enemy, the Grim Reaper, has come back from the dead, and his first encounter is with the Scarlet Witch and Wonder Man.
