Doctor Octopus (Otto Gunther Octavius)

Otto Octavius, AKA Dr. Octopus, is a Marvel character introduced as an enemy of Spider-Man. Prior to becoming a super-villain, Otto was a brilliant nuclear physicist who used four mechanical arms to aide in his nuclear physics research. An accident fused the arms to Otto, as well as giving him a psychic link to them, allowing him to control them with only his mind. Thus, Dr. Octopus was born, one of Spider-Man's megalomaniacal super-villains.
