He later learned of lineage traced back to Amergin Glúingel, sparking his fascination with druidic lore. His quest for knowledge led him to the Ancient One at Kamar-Taj, where he became his pupil, learning various mystical arts before parting ways. As Doctor Druid, he embarked on various adventures, including investigating a missing ocean liner, encountering alien invasions, and assisting monster hunters against the Deviants.
