Dragons Exalted introduced the Dragon-types. As there was no Dragon Basic Energy, attacks of these Pokémon required Basic Energy cards of the other types.

Magmortar featured different illustration in the English release and the Japanese release. It originally depicted Magmortar pointing its cannon directly at the viewer and was changed to Magmortar holding one of its cannon in the English print.
