Evolutions

Pokémon TCG: XY—Evolutions is the name given to the twelfth and final main expansion of cards from the XY Series of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. The set continues to feature Generation VI Pokémon, Pokémon-EX, M Pokémon-EX, and Pokémon BREAK in the card game. Evolutions was released to commemorate the twentieth anniversary of Pokémon.

Evolutions featured reprints of cards from Base Set, retaining most of the card layout. The Pokédex number, Weakness, Resistance, and Retreat cost were moved to their respective area used in the current card layout. The Pokémon's HP, Abilities, attacks, Resistance, and Retreat cost were updated to fit the current format. Pokémon-EX were stylized in a similar design and the card border was gold.
