Faller AMS (Auto Motor und Sport, named after the well-known German car magazine): three inch sized slot cars made by Faller of Germany from 1963 onward. The series was marketed as compatible with H0 scale model railways (and Faller's own H0 scale model railway accessories), but for the most part the cars were clearly much larger than H0 scale - somewhere between 1/60 and 1/70 scales.
The name lasted until 1986, but from 1975 onward it was mainly used for a range of imported Aurora slot racing items.

The bodies of Faller AMS models were also used for Faller's other range of free-wheeling model cars named Faller Hit Car. Bodies can be switched between the two series, so variations which seem unusual may have been produced privately.
