Eighteen hours earlier when Kiden and Cameron went to the address that Kiden’s father has given them to find a dead john and a scared X-23, they were followed back to Cameron’s apartment by another working girl who reported their location to Zebra Daddy. Kiden has another encounter with the ghost of her father and is told to leave the apartment. The trio makes their way down the fire escape as Zebra Daddy's henchmen arrive and shoot up the place. The trio flee until they find an alleyway to rest in.

Zebra Daddy hires a mutant called Felon to find X-23. Felon reluctantly agrees to do the job since he will earn enough to move him and his physically challenged little brother to Vegas.
Kiden, X-23, Cameron, and Tatiana are currently using an abandoned warehouse in the Bronx for a base of operations. Tatiana leaves the group and returns home briefly to discover the animals that were once her friends have now turned against her.

Kiden’s dead father appears to Felon and tells him that he has put four innocent lives in danger and he must correct this problem. Bobby leaves his little brother alone to solve the problem he helped create.
Tatiana, Cameron, Kiden, and X-23 are now living on the streets in the Bronx and dumpster diving for food. Tatiana is trying to come to terms with her self-realization that she is a mutant.
