Garbage Pail Kids (Topps) | Series
Released in 1985, Topps Garbage Pail Kids OS1 contains the first 41 GPK characters/cards with both an "A" and "B" name for each. Each card in this series also comes in 2 styles: Glossy finish and Matte finish. There are also 6 cards with a variant backside image that includes a checklist. All cards, except for the 6 checklist image variants, also come with either * or ** asterisks in the copyright information which gives each named card a minimum of 4 variants. A complete set of Glossy finish cards and Matte finish cards with all variations included would be 170 for each and a grand total of 340 cards.
