Goodfeathers

Goodfeathers was a segment on Animaniacs that parodied such mafia movies as Goodfellas and The Godfather. This helped give Animaniacs a touch of sophisticated comic credibility that would make it popular among older audiences. It features the eponymous Goodfeathers, an Italian-American trio of pigeons, Squit, Pesto, and Bobby, trying to get through life as pigeons. They are sometimes visited by their boss The Godpigeon. The characters are based on Ray Liotta, Robert De Niro, and Joe Pesci, who starred in Goodfellas. 

The main stars lived atop a park statue of Martin Scorsese in New York City and spoke with distinct 'New Yawk' accents. Their rival gang is made up of sparrows. They moved to Burbank, California in the Season 4 segment "Boids on the Hood".
