The Shell and Pennzoil Grand Prix of Houston was an annual auto race on the IndyCar Series circuit. It was held from 1998 until 2001, before going on a four year hiatus. It returned for 2006 and 2007, before again stopping from 2008 until 2012. The last events held were in 2013 and 2014.
Originally held on a street circuit in downtown Houston, the Grand Prix of Houston eventually was held on a temporary 1.7 mile circuit set up at the NRG Park (then known as the Reliant Park).
