Greg the Garlic farmer started off as the titular NPC from Epic NPC Man and was in every episode (either main story or post-title card) until episode 69: Expansion Day. After that, his appearances were varied with other characters in the world. Greg's main station is standing outside his cottage, but he has also been known to run the Honeywood shop or even participate in quests. His initial purpose was to be merely an observer of the odd things that happen in a video game world, but his character has been fleshed out as the series continued.
