Hans Glas GmbH was a German automobile manufacturer founded by Hans Glas, originally producing farm implements since 1883, then after WW II branching out first into motor scooters then cars. Its most famous product was the Goggomobil microcar. In 1964 the company introduced the Glas 1300 GT coupe and later the 1700 GT, beside the 1700 saloon and 2600 V8 luxury coupe.
BMW took over Glas in 1966.
