Yu-Gi-Oh! Heroclix

In 2013 NECA began producing a separate line of HeroClix based on the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise. Inspired by the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game, figures from this set feature a new game mechanic called trap/spell. Figures with the trap/spell mechanic have a trap and spell click on their dials that have distinct effects, and the chosen click is hidden from an opponent by turning the base face-down using SwitchClix technology. In 2014 the Yu-Gi-Oh! Heroclix: Battle of the Millennium Organized Play event was announced to span over 6 months with participation prizes and a grand prize, using a similar format as the Marvel and DC Organized Play events.
