Designed by Jun Imai, Chicane was introduced in the AcceleRacers series. Serving as Karma Eiss's only vehicle for the entire series, the car debuts when the Teku check on the aftermath of Wylde's streetrace intervention in Ignition. Over the course of the series, the vehicle is gradually equipped with Nitrox 2, adaptive tire technology, and Jump Jets. Chicane endures window damage on two occasions, but the entire car is never replaced. Chicane is among the final vehicles leading the charge on the Racing Drones headquarters and is consequently abandoned in Drone City. Post-AcceleRacers era, Chicane has made various appearances in different Hot Wheels media.
