Designed by Larry Wood, Jack Hammer was introduced in the AcceleRacers series. Serving as Deezel "Porkchop" Riggs' vehicle, the station wagon first appears on Old Smokey's flatbed trailer. Jack Hammer is initially equipped with an asphalt anchor. Over the course of the series, the vehicle is equipped with Nitrox 2 and adaptive tire technology. Jack Hammer is destroyed when its watertight seal encounters damage from a sea creature. Post-AcceleRacers era, Jack Hammer has made various appearances in different Hot Wheels media. 

Unlike its animated appearance, the official die-cast is missing its bottom two front pipes.
