The project's aim was to make the important Sasanian collections in Tehran and the British Museum accessible to numismatists worldwide. The Sasanian Coin Project has resulted in a two-volume published catalogue of about 4,500 Sasanian coins in the National Museum of Iran. Volume II records the Sasanian coins from Khusrau II (AD 591-628) to Yazdgard III (AD 632-651).</div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div>
