KIT Toys is a line of model cars made from paper and card by Rein Rammus in Tallinn, Estonia, starting as a hobby in the 1980s. Rammus has made models in several different scales, but eventually focused on 1/60 scale. He started making 1/43 scale models of rare and unique Volkswagens, including special versions of T1 and T2 Busses and campers, coachbuilt cars like the Rometsch and Beutler coupés and cabriolets, prototypes, and others that have not been widely replicated as models. The bodies and interiors are made from paper and card, the wheels are plastic with rubber tires. KIT Toys models were generally made to order or sold directly by Rammus on eBay. The Budig model car retailer in Berlin, Germany also sold some models starting in 2008.
