Lyanna Mormont is a fictional character featured in George R. R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series, and its HBO television adaptation, Game of Thrones. The character has yet to make a physical appearance in the novels, but is a prominent character of importance in A Feast for Crows and A Dance with Dragons. The character made her first official appearance in the season six episode of Game of Thrones, "The Broken Man." In both mediums of the story, Lyanna is the very young head of House Mormont, and devoted loyalist of House Stark. She was named after the late Lyanna Stark -- Eddard Stark's sister.
